A young Israeli prisoner has received a marriage proposal from an armed Hamas fighter for Palestinian freedom. She also received a wedding ring from the warrior. The young lady stated this in an interview on Thursday, April 25.

According to a report by the Times of Israel, Noga Weiss was a prisoner of Hamas. He was released after 50 days in a prisoner exchange in November last year.

He gave an interview to an Israeli television channel called Channel 12 on Thursday. Said that a Hamas fighter fell in love with her. Then he directly proposed marriage to her. "On the 14th day of captivity, he (the Hamas fighter) gave me a wedding ring," Noga said. I stayed with him till he was released. Noga also said that he used to tell me that everyone will be released. But you will stay here with me and nurture my children.

His mother Shiri was captured by Hamas on October 7 of last year, along with Noga. However, the mother and daughter are housed apart. A few days later, according to Noga, they were reunited.

During the interview, Noga said,
"He loves me," a Hamas member exclaimed, "want to marry me." I will have my mother brought to me. so that he would consent to the union.

He added, "After that, a woman dressed in Arab garb was brought to me." She's my mother, that much is clear. I believed they had killed him. No, he's not dead.

 Noga declared that he rejected the Hamas fighter's proposal of marriage. I pretended to scoff at his suggestion, he said. The Hamas warrior proposed marriage to Mao's daughter, but Mao declined.

Then, as part of an agreement to end hostilities with Israel, Hamas freed a number of Israeli individuals who had been detained on November 25. Together with them were Noga and his mother Shiri. Sources: NDTV, Haaretz, and the Times of Israel.
